Kidney Stone Surgery

Description

Kidney stones or renal calculi, nephrolithiasis, or urolithiasis are hard deposits made of minerals and salts formed inside the kidneys. Removal of kidney stones through surgery is most commonly done by the process of ureteroscopy with Holmium laser lithotripsy. The procedure breaks up stones into fragments and then removes them.
