Databases
siRNA
Database
This siRNA Database contains pregenerated statistically
validated siRNA targets against ALL known genes of all major
research organisms, including Human, Mouse, Rat, Fly, Yeast,
Worm, Plant and more. All targets are integrated into Protein
Lounge's online siRNA cloning tool, which allows one to
select from a wide variety of vectors from many different
companies. Additionally, the siRNA Database also allows
one to search by Disease Causing Gene targets, Transcription
Factor targets and Kinase targets. The siRNA Database will
significantly increase the speed of your research, simply
search for the genes of interest and view the pregenerated
siRNA targets.
Peptide-Antigen
Database
The Peptide-Antigen database contains antigenic peptide
targets against all known protein sequences throughout a
variety of organisms. The database has also been subdivided
into folders for peptide regions for Kinases, Phosphatases,
Transcription Factors and Disease genes. All peptide targets
are linked to Protein Lounge's proprietary online hyrdoplotting
tool, which allows you to view an interactive version of
the protein sequence on a hydrophilicity/phobicity plot.
Pathway
Database
An extensive database of hundreds of protein signaling pathways
in many organisms. The proteins in each pathway are connected
to Protein Lounge’s Protein Database.
Protein
Interaction Database
The Protein Interaction Database has been developed to assist
researchers in understanding the protein-protein interactions
which occur in our cells. This database lists thousands
of Human protein-protein interactions. The Protein Interaction
Database allows one to search for a protein, then view all
of the other proteins which it activates, inhibits or binds
to.
Kinase-Phosphatase
Database
The Kinase-Phosphatase database is a list of all protein
kinases and protein phosphatases organized with their substrates.
This database allows one to search by kinases, phosphatases
or by the substrates. The kinases and phosphatases are arranged
so that you can view common substrates among them.
GPCR Database
The GPCR (G Protein-Coupled Receptors) Database includes a list of thousands of membrane proteins that modulate sensory perception, chemotaxis, neurotransmission, cell communication, and many other vital physiological events. Based on their known or suspected functions, cell-surface localization and tissue-specificity, this database has been organized into nine major classes with their Families, Types, Ligands and G-Proteins which couple with these receptors. Additionally, all the GPCRs, their Ligands and G-Proteins are linked to Protein Lounge's online Databases for comprehensive analysis of the protein or molecules associated with these receptors.
Transcription
Factor Database
Complete database of transcription factors throughout variety
species, organized by their DNA binding sequences, binding
elements, and cell expression.
Disease
Genes Database
The Disease Genes Database is an accumulation of hundreds
of diseases linked to the genes which are responsible for
causing the disease. You have the option of searching by
disease name and viewing the genes of the disease or you
can search by gene name and view all of the diseases which
that gene causes. Biochemical Compound Database
The Biochemical Compound Database contains text and graphics describing important molecules commonly involved in cellular signaling, biosynthesis and metabolism. For each molecule, the database currently provides a large amount of automated data including synonyms, reaction information, disease specifications and related pathways. By clicking on the corresponding molecule directly from the main list, its full description can be viewed.
Protein
Database
A well-organized database of protein throughout a variety
of organisms integrated with Protein Lounge’s databases
and tools. The protein database contains datasheets, extensive
reviews, disease relation, publications, related members,
and sequence information.
Online
Research Tools
Pathway
Builder Tool
Pathway Builder Tool is a desktop application, which offers
you the ultimate freedom to make your own pathways using
premade membranes, organelles, proteins and other necessary
pathway structures. You may also modify many premade pathways
to suit your needs. This is an ideal tool to help in the
illustration of your publications.
Protein
Hydroplotter
Protein Hydroplotter allows for the viewing of hydrophilic
and hydrophobic regions of known proteins. This is an ideal
tool for finding antibody and drug targets of a protein.
Peptide
Finder
Peptide Antigen Finder tool finds the best antigenic peptides
of a protein sequence. Hydrophilic regions of the protein
sequence are screened to find the best possible peptides
which can be used as antibody or drug targets.
CloneEasy
CloneEasy offers the easiest and most efficient method for
PCR cloning online. Enter any sequence and choose from a
library of cloning vectors and enzymes. Design primers from
Genbank sequence or your own sequence. CloneEasy create
compatible cloning sites for the vectors in the database.
Easy siRNA
The easiest and most accurate method of generating siRNA.
Easy siRNA accounts for mRNA folding so that the siRNA fragment
binds to the optimum unfolded region of mRNA. Sequence homology
is also accounted for, so an siRNA is chosen which does
not interfere with the other mRNAs within the cell.
Clean
Compare
SeqCompare offers the cleanest and most accurate method
of comparing sequences. Sequences are compared through Protein
Lounge’s screened database of sequences. It produces more
accurate comparison data than any other sequence comparison
tool.
ProteinVision
ProteinVision for the online viewing of 3D interactive protein
structures. Choose from Protein Lounge’s database of protein
structures.
Online
Lab Book
This system allows you to store your experiments in your
personal secure online Lab Book for viewing from any location.
No longer worry about having to transfer files from one
computer to another.
